Reporter, writer, Editor, audio producer

My name is Tressa Versteeg (she/her). My audio reporting has been published by NPR, PBS American Portrait, WBUR Boston, and many other outlets. I have worked as a podcast producer for clients such as Duolingo, Environmental Defense Fund, and Burn It All Down. My print reporting has been published by Down East magazine, Penobscot Bay Press, and Bangor Daily News. I also do podcast editing and consulting.

In past careers, I’ve hand-painted greeting cards, rolled thousands of croissants, taught kids how to divide fractions and bicycled around the Great Lakes making a documentary with the Solidago Riders.

I am a graduate of Macalester College and the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies. My roots are in the prairie, I currently live in Maine, and I love to travel to other corners of the world any chance I get.
